Description: BlueBEE-Gold is a compact XBEE Socket compatible Class-1 Bluetooth Module from rhydoLABZ. The module is designed as per the layout of famous XBEE module . Most of us will be having the boards or Arduino shields with XBEE socket built in, so it is not necessary to search for interfacing components or breakout boards ect. and no more loose connections :-) .Just insert the BlueBEE in to the XBEE socket and you can transfer the required data using bluetooth instead of Zigbee interface.
This version of the BlueBEE uses the popular RN-41 module which has a higher range than the RN-42 module used in the BlueBEE-Silver..These modems work as a serial (RX/TX) pipe. Any serial stream from 9600 to 115200bps can be passed seamlessly from your computer to your target.
This unit build with the Roving Network's bluetooth module RN41 and this unit uses an improved command set. Do not attach this device directly to a PC serial port. You will need an RS232/USB to TTL converter circuit if you need to attach this to a computer.
