 It is a class-2 bluetooth module with Serial Port Profile , which can configure as either Master or slave. a Drop-in replacement for wired serial connections, transparent usage. You can use it simply for a serial port replacement to establish connection between MCU, PC to your embedded project and etc.

    • There are two versions of Arduino Pro Mini. One runs at 3.3V,8 MHz, the other at 5V,16 MHz. I/O Pins of HC-05 Bluetooth Module are not 5V Tolerant , use level converter for interfacing with 5V Pro Mini and can plug directly with 3.3V Pro Mini.
      The HC-05 Bluelink 5V TTL is a breakout board from rhydoLABZ based on HC-05 bluetooth module which gives 5V TTL output which can directly plug with 5V Pro Mini.

    • This module doesn't comes with base board. This is only the bluetooth module. But we have another HC-05 module comes with breakout board which is HC-05 Bluelink 5V TTL, rhydoLABZ part number is WRL-2509. Here is the link
