Description: The mighty RN-41 is here with an update. The new version notably has removed the unused RF pads from the bottom of the module. Rovings Networks puts up their best effort on easy implementation of wireless systems, RN-41 does just that. With a completely encapsulated bluetooth stack in an SMD package, they are the best in class replacements for the good old serial cables. With all its simplicity at the users end, they would just be having the serial characters transmitted back and forth.

Works great

Since we are at the prototyping stage, getting started with this modules, basically getting the pins out was a bit challenging since this being an SMT module.
Once we started communicating, rest was real easy.
