Description: Color Sensor, based on TCS3200, is a complete color detector capable of detecting static color. The output of the sensor is a square wave with frequency directly proportional to incident light intensity. It also supports fill light by on board LEDs.

OUT	↔	RGB color output frequency (To MCU.IO)
S0/S1	↔	Output frequency scaling selection inputs (To MCU.IO)
S2/S3	↔	Photodiode type selection inputs (To MCU.IO)

S0/S1 selects the output frequency scaling factor, S2/S3 selects the color filter of red, green, blue, then OUT outputs a square wave with frequency proportional to the selected color intensity. The detected color can be determined by the ratio of the intensity of red, green and blue.

Resources:

NOTE: The module requires white balance during its first time usage, resetting, or changing the light source. The wiki page has detailed explanation on how to configure the white balance, which is actually quite simple.

- Color Sensor, Complete Color Detector output is a square wave(50% duty cycle) with frequency directly proportional to light intensity. There is no possibility to get a ADC output instead of PWM with this module.
