Description: This board is a simple carrier of Allegro’s ±5A ACS714 Hall effect-based linear current sensor, which offers a low-resistance (~1.2 mΩ) current path and electrical isolation up to 2.1 kV RMS. This version accepts a bidirectional current input with a magnitude up to 5 A and outputs a proportional analog voltage (185 mV/A) centered at 2.5 V with a typical error of ±1.5%. It operates from 4.5 V to 5.5 V and is intended for use in 5 V systems.

Dimensions:
  • Size: 0.7" x 0.8"
  • Weight: 1.3 g
General Specifications:
  • Current sense: 0.185 V/A1
  • Minimum logic voltage: 4.5 V
  • Maximum logic voltage: 5.5 V
  • Supply current: 13 mA

Harshit the spec of 0.185V/A means you will get 0.185 Volts per 1000mA . So, to get the voltage for 1 mA you have to divide 0.185 V, i.e., 185 mV by 1000. Which gives you 0.185mV or 185 uV. You need to have a very high accuracy amplifier to measure this kind of Voltage. It is better to have a differential amplifier of 100 gain.

Hi Please let me know what will be the least count of the sensor ,
the sensitivity says 0.185 v/A, that means if i need to measure 1ma of current i will have to get 5000ma/ 5000, ie 5000 different voltage levels, kindly help me on that.
