Good product

By GAURAV REWATKAR from Karnataka, India on November 01, 2018
The product was delivered on time with good packaging. When the LCD was plugged in the Raspberry Pi B+ it was flickering and colors were not coming as expected. Thanks to Rhydolabs wiki page. I followed the instructions given on the wiki page and was able to get the LCD functional. The rootbootconfig.txt file needs to be changed to get the LCD functional. Would recommend the product for Raspberry Pi B+

Thats an incredible display for my Pi.. Indian suppliers have limited stock when it comes to Pi displays except rhydolabz.. With detailed wiki posts, resources to download and technical guidance (credits to rhydolabz) it much easier to get started. My only concern is the delayed delivery.. 4 days to here!! when I was very much in its need even at the time of placing the order. Any ways the package arrived safe, neatly packed in a cool blue box! And Im one of your happy customers now! _3 :)

    • To get the issue fixed, follow the below mentioned procedure.

      Download the image, Raspbian, from Raspberry Pi web site.
      Write the image to a TF card and put it on the pi and power on the device.
      After the booting(which will take some minutes) open the LX terminal and type,

      sudo nano /boot/config.txt and press the enter key.

      Add the code shown below to the end of file;

      max_usb_current=1
      hdmi_group=2
      hdmi_mode=1
      hdmi_mode=87
      hdmi_cvt 1024 600 60 6 0 0 0

      Then press Ctrl+x and thus enter y to save the file.
      Restart the RPi and connect the LCD to it.
