Description: This is a low cost, yet so fast, USB Programmer for ATMEL 89SXXX series microcontrollers. The programmer is specifically designed for In System Programming (ISP). Being capable of drawing the power from the host, it wont require additional Power Supply. Using this programmer the microcontroller can be programmed without pulling it out from the IC Base.

One of the possible ways of connecting this programmer to a microcontroller is via an IDC10 connector. All you will have to do is, just place one 2x5 connector between the microcontroller and programmer. When connected to a prototype device, the module becomes IN-SYSTEM programmer. When creating a target device, the appropriate 10-pin male connector with 2.54 mm spacing between pins should be placed on it. The connector pins should be linked to the microcontroller pins. Their position varies depending on the microcontroller's type and package.



The 8051prog2 programmer supports a wide range of Atmel's 8051 microcontrollers, such as AT89S51, AT89S52, AT89S8252, AT89S8253 and so on. With complementary software, this programmer represents a great tool for all those working with Atmel’s 8051 derivatives. The microcontroller is connected to the programmer via 6 lines, two of which are +5V and GND, while others are MOSI, MISO, SCK and MCLR. Unlike programmers whose operation is based on bootloaders, and which need to place a part of their memory at bootload program's disposal, rhydoLABZ ATMEL programmer programs microcontrollers externally so that the entire memory is available for the programmer.

Is there any faster software to upload the hex?

I would be really grateful if you could provide me any other software other than the one supplied with this programmer.
I just want to increase the upload speed of the hex file.
