Description: Have you ever needed a cheap way to activate something from across the room? Infrared remotes are still the cheapest way to wirelessly control a device. This IR Remote Controller is small, very simple, and low-cost. With this remote we have an option of 21 different control buttons, which comes handy for most remote control projects.
Though we have the IR receiver provided along, this remote works with many of these commonly available IR receiver ICs. It would be a great aid in remote control projects such as the Arduino IR Remote receiver. The TSOP382 is a miniaturized receiver for infrared remote control systems. A PIN diode and a preamplifier are assembled on a lead frame while the epoxy package acts as an IR filter. The demodulated output signal can be directly decoded by a microprocessor. The TSOP382 is compatible with all common IR remote control data formats. To power the control module, CR2025 coin cell battery is suggested.
Note: The unit does NOT come with a CR2025 coin cell battery. CR2032 also fits well for this module, you can get one here.
