Description: This Nintendo DS Screen with connector provides you with an easy means to equip your next project with touchscreen functionality. Inside each package is one Nintendo DS Touchscreen and one Nintendo DS Touch Screen Connector. All you need to do to set this up is simply attach the touchscreen’s ribbon cable into the connector & solder on to a connector solder pad or to wires and connect it up. That’s it!

A right angled ZIF connector is used to connect to the touchscreen’s four GPIO cable. Readings from the screen are taken by putting 5V across two of the pins with an analog to digital conversion on the other two pins therefore achieving full X and Y position recognition.

Interesting to interface with controllers. SPI protocol helps to reduce pins.
