Description: The CP2102 basic board made by rhydoLABZ for the USB to serial conversion. This is a great little tool for embedded systems that require a serial connection to a computer. This breakout also allows you to connect the TX/RX pins of your favorite microcontroller or serial application to the RX/TX pins of the breakout, creating a simple serial cable replacement. which requires no external oscillator, uses reprogrammable internal EEPROM for device description and has a 3.3V on-board voltage regulator with an output that can also be used to power your 3.3V as well as 5V electronics up to 100mA from the USB bus.
The serial interface of this board uses 3.3V as well as 5V TTL levels. The board has 6 pin header soldered for DTR,RXD,TXD,PWR OUT CTS AND GND.
Note: Unit comes with interfacing voltage selection jumper set to 5v (default), for connecting to boards with 3V3 voltage reference, user has to change this jumper to 3v3 or drop a comment while placing the order so that necessary changes could be made before shipment.
