What is the default baud rate of your RFID Reader -RS-232? Can I change it? :mrgreen:

the default baudrate is 9600. cannot change that.

i wish to make a attendance marking system using ur reader. so am going to make a cabin... what could be the max. allowable height of the reader.. i cannot access the card, when the card is placed at a height of 12 cm :roll:

. can anybody helps me to design my reader size....

Our RFID Reader comes in a very compact dimension - 63mm x 98mm x 5 mm. There are no components at PCB bottom side.Hope you can start designing your cabin with this information. Remember to put adequate space for serial connection etc.. The normal Reading Distance of the reader is 10-15CM (Depends on card shape). Check whether you have placed the reader where the reader experience RF noise in its frequency range. (like on a metal table etc)
